Card Holder Card Holder

I saw this card holder in Martha Stewart Living magazine and thought it was a brilliant way to display holiday cards from family and friends. I just had to craft one up for myself. What I love most about this card holder is that it takes up very little space – just the back of a door. You can get super creative with this craft – decoupage your clothespins, paint your hoop, add some glitter, glue on some colorful ribbon. Call me boring but I personally like the natural simplistic look of the embroidery hoop so I didn’t add any embellishments. Maybe next year I will change it up and add some sparkle. Happy crafting!

Materials
Large Embroidery Hoop
Clothespins
Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun

Directions
Step 1: Hot glue clothespins to the embroidery hoop about 3-4 inches apart. Glue one clothespin facing in, one out and continue to alternate all the way around the hoop.

Step 2: Add a ribbon and bow. You can pick a thick solid ribbon to hide the metal screw but I personally like being able to tell that its an embroidery hoop.

Step 3: Hang it up and add all of those holiday cards!
