Peppermint Sugar Scrub 10

On the 1st day of Christmas…
That’s right, you get a double dose of craftiness today. I’m a total bath product junkie, my bathroom cabinets are filled with scrubs and lotions. I recently started making my own bath products (remember my bath salt tutorial) and was amazed at how CHEAP and EASY it is to do. I thought I’d try my hand at sugar scrub, with a peppermint candy cane twist. I teamed up with the fabulous Kelsey of Poofy Cheeks for this tutorial. She made the adorable labels, totally free and printable for you guys, and I created the scrub. A match made in tutorial heaven. Whip up a batch of this stuff and give it as a gift, your friends will thank you for their super soft skin.

Step 2: Add 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup olive oil & 1/4 cup crushed candy canes to a mixing bowl. Mix well. The scrub will have a yellowish tinge to it because of the olive oil, you could try adding skin-friendly dye if you prefer a different color.
