I recently got to play around with Plaid’s new Mod Podge Mod Melts and made a rose bracelet using this fun new product. You basically fill a Mod Melt mold with the Mod Melt sticks using a hot glue gun and out pops a solid cabochon or charm in less than 10 minutes. You can paint these Mod Melt forms using acrylic paint to match whatever you are embellishing. Such a fun product and very easy to use! You guys are going to love this product, there are so many possibilities! I can’t wait to make hair accessory embellishments for baby #2 using Mod Melts!
Materials
Mod Melts Rose Mold
Mod Melts Sticks
High Temp Glue Gun
White Acrylic Paint
Sponge Brush
E-6000 Glue
Bracelet Form
Instructions
Step 1: Load your high temp hot glue gun (low-temp won’t work) with a Mod Melts stick. Fill the Mod Melts rose mold and allow to cool and harden for 10 minutes before popping out of the mold. Repeat this step as many times as needed to fill the bracelet form.
Step 2: Use a sponge brush to paint 1-2 coats of white acrylic paint on the Mod Melts roses. Allow to dry.
Step 3: Glue the Mod Melts roses onto the bracelet form using E-6000 glue.
Step 4: Allow glue to dry according to packaging directions. Wear your new bracelet with your favorite outfit!

Are these in stores yet? I’ve never seen them and they look like so much fun, I’d love to try it!!
They should be coming to Michaels craft stores soon if they aren’t there already 🙂
I like how these work with a glue gun. It seems really easy to make.
Thank you for a great tutorial. I cannot wait to try this.
