Hi there, I’m Rachel from {i love} my disorganized life. It was so sweet of Vanessa to invite me to join in on the fun of ’20 Crafty Days of Halloween’. I hope you’ve been enjoying all of these fun ideas as much as I have! It has always been such a fun time of the year for me. When we were kids, we lived in a neighborhood where everyone gave out candy, we’re talking the good kind here, none of those nasty restaurant mints!
It was always so much fun thinking up creative costume ideas. I’ve been a Senorita, a Punk-Rocker, a Gypsy and even wore a Toga one year. But, let’s be honest, it’s not just all about the costumes. It’s just as much about the candy.
This year, I made a cute way to give candy out, whether to the ghouls, goblins and princesses that come to your door, or the ones you invite in for a celebration.
Supplies per holder:
- Toilet paper roll, or paper towel roll cut in half
- Black marker
- Eyes, either plastic google or the edible kind
- White material cut into 2″ wide strips {1 strip the width of your material and 2 strips that are 4 inches long}
- Scissors
- Glue dots
Next, starting at the bottom, use a glue dot to anchor the long strip of material to the roll and begin wrapping around the tube. Glue ever few inches to hold material in place.
Continue wrapping material around roll, being careful not to cover the eyes completely.
Secure with another glue dot at the top; trim end of material and excess material at the top of the roll.
Fill the rolls with candy and they are ready to hand out!
