I’m a huge fan of my crock pot, but there are only a handful of crock pot friendly recipes that my family loves. This is one of them! Some families partake in Taco Tuesdays, well my family does Wing Tuesdays. I’ll make a batch of naked (minus the sauce) wings for the kids and it’s one of our favorite meals (and Whole 30 approved if you use compliant sauce). I also love making these ridiculously easy crock pot buffalo wings for parties, especially football parties. I can throw everything in the crock pot in the morning and by game time they’re ready to go! This recipe is simple, only 3 ingredients, but that’s how we like our wings around here. Oh and don’t skip the broiling if you like crispy wings!
INGREDIENTS
2lbs Chicken Wings
1 Cup Hot Sauce (I love Cholula or Frank’s)
1 Tablespoon Butter (or Clarified Butter if doing Whole 30)
1/4 Cup Hot Sauce (for after the crock pot)
INSTRUCTIONS: Melt butter and add to 1 cup hot sauce. Toss wings in the sauce and cook in the crock pot on low for 6-8 hours or until fully cooked. Once cooked, remove from crock pot and place on a baking sheet. Broil for 3 minutes, until crispy. Toss in 1/4 cup hot sauce and serve with ranch. Enjoy!
