My family eats a ton of guac, so I’ve had the opportunity to perfect my guacamole recipe. My recipe combines red onions, cilantro, lime juice, tomatoes, jalapeno and garlic salt. Coming from a self proclaimed guac expert, this is the world’s BEST guac recipe out there! Don’t leave any of the ingredients out when you make this. It’s the perfect Game Day recipe for tailgating fun! Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever had a party where guac wasn’t involved. It’s pretty much a party staple. Making guac can get a tad messy, so make sure to have Viva® Vantage® Towels on hand for easy clean up!
5 Medium Avocados
1/2 Cup Chopped Cilantro
1 Chopped Red Onion
1 Chopped Tomato
1/2 Chopped Jalapeno (with seeds)
Garlic Salt and Pepper
Step 1: Head to Walmart and get your ingredients. Don’t forget to grab the Viva® Vantage® Big Roll 6 Pack or 12 Pack for easy cleanup! They stay soft and strong like cloth without ripping or tearing. Don’t forget to grab a coupon for $1 off any ONE (1) Viva® Paper Towel or Viva® Vantage® Paper Towel 12-pack or larger.
Step 2: Use an avocado slicer to remove the avocado from the outer shell, discarding the seed. Add to a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Clean up your avocado mess with some help from Viva® Vantage® Towels.
Step 4: Add lime juice from 2 limes, garlic salt and pepper (to taste) to the avocado and mash with a masher until mostly smooth.
Step 5: Add chopped cilantro, chopped tomato, chopped onion and chopped jalapeno to the avocado.
Step 6: Combine and mix ingredients. Don’t forget to clean up your mess after!
Step 7: Add tortilla chips and enjoy during game day…or any day!
