Here’s a quick and easy Easter treat tutorial that will take you under and hour to make, depending on how many crispy treats your making. I just love how these Easter bunnies turned out and they ended up being the perfect little treat for my son’s teachers. Once they are dry, bag them up in a clear cello bag and add some ribbon for a simple gift. These bunnies would also be perfect for Easter parties, playdates and more!
Rice cereal treats
White chocolate melts
White sixlets candy
*You’ll also need an egg shaped cookie cutter
Step 1: Use an egg shaped cookie cutter to cut the rice crispy treats into egg shapes.
Step 2: Melt the chocolate melts according to the package. I recommend microwaving in 30 second intervals and mixing in between. Be cautious of over-melting or the chocolate will be too difficult to work with.
Step 3: Dip the top of the egg shaped crispy treats into the chocolate and before they harden, add a white candy sixlet to the end of each treat.
Step 4: Add two black icing dots for eyes and two pink icing lines for ears, as shown in the photo below.
Step 5: Allow the icing to dry and then enjoy!
