Christmas: Thank You Idea for Package Delivery

If you are expecting holiday packages, leave a little bucket of snacks and water out for the delivery people bringing your packages! My friend recently posted about her crate of snacks for deliveries on Facebook and I thought it was a great way to pay it forward. Christmas is just around the corner, but it’s never too late to start and you can keep it up through the New Year. If you live in a hot environment, like Arizona, leaving out cold water in the summertime would be a nice gesture. Now go spread some holiday cheer!

MATERIALS

Bucket or Crate
Snacks
Printable Sign
Washi Tape

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Print out the printable sign on a piece of card stock paper. You might want to laminate the sign.

Step 2: Fill a bucket with water and snacks. Pre-packaged snack items would probably be best, so they can just grab and go. Here are some snack-sized ideas: popcorn, pretzels, chips, granola bars, trail mix, nuts, cereal bars, etc.

Step 3: Place the bucket outside your door and hang the sign above the bucket with washi tape. You might want to bring the bucket inside each night to not only replenish the snacks, but to also keep away from any critters that might come out at night.

How will you be paying it forward this holiday season?
