Head to As You Wish to paint a I “Donut” Care mug and make a batch of funfetti donuts to go with it! My life motto is the more sprinkles the better, so we didn’t hold back when making these donuts. My kids love to help me in the kitchen and this is a great recipe for kids to help with. Pick up your favorite box of cake, we used funfetti, and follow the instructions below. They are soooo good!
INGREDIENTS
1 box Funfetti cake mix
1 large egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
cooking spray
vanilla icing
You’ll also need: whisk, donut sheet, piping bag, rainbow sprinkles, parchment paper
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Head to As You Wish to paint a “Donut Care” mug.
Step 2: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a donut sheet with cooking spray. Combine the Funfetti cake mix, large egg, vegetable oil and water. Whisk until smooth.
Step 3: Place combined ingredients in a piping bag. Cut the tip off and pipe the ingredients into a donut sheet, filling each slot halfway full.
Step 4: Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until cake mix is cooked all the way through. Allow to cool before removing from baking sheet.
Step 5: Place vanilla icing in a microwavable bowl and microwave in 10 second increments, mixing in between, until icing is melted. Dip the top of each donut into the icing and place on a piece of parchment paper.
Step 6: Before the icing hardens, add sprinkles.
Step 7: Enjoy with a “Donut Care” mug of coffee or hot cocoa!
