Recipe: Easy Lasagna Dip

Easy Lasagna Dip Recipe

Lasagna dip is my favorite recipe to make during a busy week and it’s always a big hit with everyone in my family. This recipe usually comes out right around back to school week, when we are all adjusting to our busy schedules. Sometimes I make the meat sauce the night before and just combine everything 15 minutes before dinnertime. I like that it works as an appetizer or a main meal, with some veggies on the side. My lasagna dip has a secret ingredient that makes the recipe that much more delicious – Shamrock Farms cottage cheese! If you are in the Arizona area, you can tour their working dairy farm and see firsthand their commitment to high-quality animal care. After our tour, I wouldn’t buy any other brand because I’m confident that their products go through rigorous purity testing and are packaged and shipped with care. INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 cups marinara sauce
1 large white onion (chopped)
1 garlic clove (chopped)
1 pound ground beef (cooked, drained)
2 tsp italian spices
1/2 cup Shamrock Farm’s cottage cheese
2 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 tbsp parsley (chopped)

Shamrock Farms cottage cheese contains 13g of protein, which helps with energy and focus and keeps you fuller longer. It’s also low in calories and fat, high in bone-building calcium and low in carbohydrates.

One of my favorite back to school easy recipes, is using Ritz crackers! I put them on a baking sheet…top with a tiny bit of pizza or spaghetti sauce…a pepperoni…and shredded cheese. I bake just until the cheese melts about 350! Does not take long! So easy for a quick and easy back to school snack! Our little one loves these!
I cannot wait to make your dip! That looks so amazing…lasagna is my favorite food :)

Sticking with the Italian theme we like to make calzones on busy nights. It makes it super easy to customize for each persons likes!

That lasagna dip looks so good! I never thought of doing a “dip” as a main dish. Such a good idea!

We love anything instant pot for back to school. Super easy favorite- chicken adobo– 4ish lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup white vinegar, 5 cloves of garlic– high pressure/manual for 15 min if fresh, 30-40min frozen. Shred, serve over rice or naan bread w/ steamed broccoli.

That looks yummy. My favorite back to school meal is an Israeli couscous dish with roasted brussel sprouts and shredded rotisserie chicken mixed in and topped with bacon. Easy and so good!
