Thankgiving Pie Bar Printable and Turkey Seasoning Recipe

I’m all about EASY when it comes to holiday meals. I prefer to be with my guests, rather than slaving away in the kitchen and missing the party. I’ll let you in on my time saving secret: Marie Callender’s pies! They are delicious, especially the dutch apple pie with crumble topping, and taste homemade. I always get asked for the recipe! For holidays and special occasions, I love setting up a pie bar with different types of pies. Give the table a rustic look with burlap and lace details. Guests are always impressed and who doesn’t love pie?! Keep reading for a printable leftover pie slice box that guests can take home a piece of pie in (if there are any leftovers). I also included my favorite turkey seasoning recipe, it’s always a hit and simple enough for first time turkey makers! Before you head shopping, visit Shopkick to earn rewards for shopping.

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons rosemary
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

DIRECTIONS
Step 1: Rub the turkey with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Combine sea salt, black pepper, rosemary, thyme and garlic powder. Rub the turkey with seasoning mixture.

Step 2: Follow Butterball’s instructions on how to roast a turkey. Each turkey comes with cooking instructions and an easy open bag (no scissors needed). Butterball turkeys are all natural, gluten free and pre-brined. Even the most novice of cooks can handle this. If you have any questions while cooking, you can call the Talk-Line for support at 1-800-BUTTERBALL or text 844-877-3456.

Step 3: While the turkey is roasting, you can set up your pie bar decor. For a rustic look, use lace and burlap decor with wood accents. Flowers in a mason jar are always a nice touch. I cut up a thrifted lace tablecloth to create a fabric banner.

Step 4: Prepare the Marie Callender’s pies according to the packages and display on large wood slices or cake stands. We love the dutch apple, pumpkin and southern pecan pies. They are all easy to prepare with a homemade taste. Marie Callender’s dessert pies and new loaf cakes are the perfect ending to any holiday. The loaf cakes are made from scratch with real ingredients and no preservatives or artificial colors.

Step 5: Print out the free printable “just here for the pie” boxes on craft paper. Cut around the darker lines and fold around the lighter lines. Guests can take home a piece of leftover pie in the boxes.

Step 6: Once your turkey is done, serve it up with a bottle of Woodbridge Red Blend or Woodbridge Cabernet. The Red Blend pairs well with holiday favorites including turkey, creamy potatoes, and pumpkin pie. Enjoy!

  1. As always – another amazing setup my friend! I made my first turkey for Emmett’s preschool class last night – wish I would have seen this first. I think it is going to be a little bland. LOL!
