NON-TREAT VALENTINE IDEAS
My daughter spotted these kitty cat headbands on a recent shopping trip and we scooped them up for her dance class friends. She just so happens to have ballet class on Valentine’s Day this year and is excited to hand these Valentines out at the dance studio. Cat ear headbands seem to be all the rage this year, so I’m sure they will be well received amongst the 5 year old tiny dancers.
I love the idea of gifting functional, non-treat Valentines that can be used and reused in the future. Make sure to tie a printable “please be my meowentine” tag on the headband for a festive touch. You could also attach these tags to cat plushes or squishies.
WHERE DID YOU FIND THOSE CAT HEADBANDS?
Head to the Valentine’s Day aisle at Target for these kitty cat headbands. They are super cute and inexpensive. If you prefer online shopping, Amazon has similar colorful cat ear headbands or sequin cat ear headbands. I’m also loving these rhinestone cat ear headbands! There are so many cute cat ear options to pick from, you really can’t go wrong!
HOW TO MAKE KID FRIENDLY VALENTINES
Download the free printable “please be my meowentine” cat tags via the link below and print them out on white card stock paper. Cut out the tags along the lines using a paper cutter. Punch a hole at the top of each tag and attach to the cat headbands using a piece of twine.
Your child can write “to and from” on the back of the cards before gifting to classmates on Valentine’s Day.
