I busted out the Mod Podge and a power tool for this project, which always makes for fun times! Since Logan was born, my dad only has one request for birthdays/Father’s Days/holidays. He only wants a photo of Logan. I’ve done photo calendars, photo mugs and a DIY photo canvas. For Father’s Day this year I decided to make him a photo clock, for him to hang in his man cave garage. Soon, everything he owns will have Logan’s photo plastered on it! This is a super easy project, don’t be intimidated by the drill. You can always get a pre-drilled plaque, but the drilling is my favorite part. Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing dads out there (especially my dad)!

Materials
Wooden Plaque (found at most craft supply stores)
Drill (or pre-drilled wooden plaque)
Photo (large enough to cover the size of your plaque)
Clock Parts (found at most craft supply stores)
Mod Podge
Sponge Brush
Scissors
Pen or Pencil
Acrylic Paint (optional)
Directions
Step 1: Drill a hole in the center of the wooden plaque, large enough for the clock pieces to fit through. You can find pre-drilled plaques at most craft supply stores if you don’t have a drill. Optional: Paint the plaque with acrylic paint. I preferred the unfinished wood look for my clock.
Step 2: Trace the plaque onto the back of the photo. Cut around the markings, so your photo fits on the top of the plaque.
Step 3: Mod Podge the photo to the plaque. Once dry, you can use a nail file to file down the photo edges. Use a pen or pencil to punch a hole through the center of the photo, where the pre-drilled hole matches up.
Step 4: Once Mod Podge is dry, attach clock parts to the wooden plaque according to directions on the package. Give to dad or grandpa for Father’s Day!
