(logan) dinosaur costumes and marshmallows

September 15, 2012 By Vanessa 3 Comments

My 2 year old is quite obsessed with dinosaurs at the moment. So, when I asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween this year he immediately shouted “dinosaur”. Of course, that’s his default answer for everything and I’m not so sure he even knows what Halloween means, but we’re going with it. This time of year is busy for a craft blogger with the holidays approaching. So, rather than stress myself out and try to put together a dino costume from scratch, I decided to see what was already out there. I found Logan’s dinosaur costume at Wholesale Halloween Costumes and they so generously sent it to me to review. Isn’t it the cutest?! They have an awesome selection of kids Halloween costumes available online, check them out!

When I first showed Logan the costume he was thrilled. When I first put it on him, not so much. Until I bribed him with a marshmallow, which coincidentally also works well for potty training. That would explain the white thing in Logan’s hand in 99% of the pictures. I totally deserve an award for best mom of the year, just sayin’. After attempting to take a few pictures of Logan sitting inside, I released my marshmallow eating dinosaur into the wild back yard and he had a blast roaring his little heart out. I wish I had video to show you, it was hilarious. I can’t wait until Halloween and you better believe that I’ll be packing an entire bag of marshmallows with me wherever we go.

I think the hubby and I are going to be paleontologists to coordinate with his costume. Or cave people. What do you guys think?

The fine print: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Love it! Braden is so easily bribed with marshmallows. I’m also glad I’m not the only one who coordinates costumes with my two-year old. Paleontologists would be extremely easy since they wear “real” clothes and not something that would have to be made.
