That’s right folks, little ol’ me is writing a kids craft book! I’ve signed with Gibbs Smith and I’ll be writing my very first BOOK, due out next spring! I couldn’t be more grateful and humbled by this opportunity. This is my dream, one of my biggest goals in life (aside from having my babies). For it to be a reality is just surreal and even though I’ve known about the news for almost a year, I’m still pinching myself. Oh gosh, I can’t wait to share what my book is about with you! Soon, I promise! You guys are going to love it (hopefully)!
A HUGE thank you to my blog readers, for your support and encouragement. I don’t think I would have had the courage to even put out a proposal without you. I look forward to sharing this journey with you. I can already tell you that writing a book isn’t as glamorous as it may appear, but I know that all of my hard work will pay off. I’ll admit that a few tears have already been shed during this process, but that only means that I’m passionate about what I’m doing…and very hormonally pregnant. I’m not sure book writing should be allowed while pregnant, but luckily I have very supportive family and friends.
I’m ecstatic to be working with my friend, Jen of Green Apple Images, on this project. She shot these fun (and maybe a tad corny) announcement photos of me and will be shooting my book photos. This lady is so t.a.l.e.n.t.e.d! The book shoot is set for next week and I’m working hard to finish up last minute details on all of my projects, which is why you’ll probably be hearing crickets on my blog until the shoot is done. I’m anxious and excited and so grateful. Stay tuned for more book news and follow me on instagram for future sneak peeks.
