Baby #2’s nursery is slowly coming along. You find the pink, yellow & coral nursery idea board here. After hours of scouring the internet, I finally found the perfect furniture for her room! The dresser and nightstand, a vintage French provincial set found at a thrift shop, will be sanded and painted coral (with the help of my parents). I’m pretty excited to try out Annie Sloan’s chalk paint, just wish us luck on finding the perfect coral mixture. I decided on a very feminine and vintage looking Jenny Lind crib, which will stay white and fits the space perfectly (at least in my mind right now). Things are definitely getting real now that we have a crib sitting in our home.
I decided on the gorgeous Rosette Collection by Dwell Studio for baby girl’s bedding. My awesome parents splurged on the crib bedding (definitely a huge splurge), during Dwell’s kid sale. I’m so in love with this bedding and it’s my inspiration for the rest of the room. Who knew I was so into coral before this bedding set (I might just have to add coral into my own blog coloring scheme)! On a whim, I did a random Etsy search for “rosette by dwell” and ran into the most perfect “You Are My Sunshine” themed prints in the perfect color scheme. It was meant to be!
We’re attempting to clear out what was once our guest bedroom, selling all of our old furniture, so we can start painting. Finding the perfect shade of light pink for the walls is going to be quite the challenge for this indecisive paint color picker (ask my husband about the paint swatch debacle in Logan’s room). I’m hoping to get everything finished before my 2nd trimester energy boost is over and I’m too huge to want to do anything. See, I learned from experience that it’s probably not a good idea to be up on a ladder at 34 weeks pregnant installing vinyl birch trees (totally worth it though). Stay tuned for more nursery updates!

I love, love, love this! I am sure it will put Lila’s nursery to shame. 😉 If I had seen this bedding while designing Lila’s nursery her room may look very different. Lol. I love that bedding! I can’t wait to see the finished product!
Thanks friend! Lila’s nursery is ADORABLE!
My sister had a dresser like that when we were kids. =)
So did I! I wish we would have kept it, but of course I told my parents to sell it when I left for college…before I was a blogger 😉
looks like it’s coming along! i love doing nurseries! love all your picks! that bedding is adorable!
Thanks so much Andrea! Aren’t nurseries so much fun to design for?!
OH MY GOODNESS! THAT IS MY EXACT DRESSER FROM WHEN I WAS LITTLE! Where did you find it? Wow, I remember the gold trim. Brings back so many memories!
I think we all had the same furniture set in our childhood bedrooms lol! I also had a similiar dresser, wish I would have kept it! Found it at a thrift shop in AZ.
I adore using one off pieces of furniture rather than heading to the nearest superstore! As unique and individual as your little bundle!
I love everything! We have a french provincial dresser under our living room TV and it is my favorite piece of furniture in our entire house. I sanded and painted it a mint green. I can’t wait to see it all come together!
I had that furniture as a kid! 🙂 It’s still at my mom’s house…IN ARIZONA!
The bedding is GORGEOUS!
I’d love a Jenny Lind classic crib to paint…I may start looking and get rid of this one we have that I HATE! It was my stepdaughter’s {before my time} and then my daughter’s and I do not like blond wood at all. Never had. Used it for our daughter to appease my MIL who has NEVER one time been in my daughter’s room! haha!
