Hi, it is Sara from Confetti Sunshine here. I was so excited when Vanessa asked me to contribute to her 20 Crafty Days of Halloween. I love crafts and I love Halloween, so it was no question that I’d love to share a project with all of you!
The fun thing with this project, is that it is great to put up just as a Halloween decoration, but can also be used as part of a party. I actually put together a Mad Scientist Bakery Halloween Party, where these little monsters were part of the decor.
To make your own Monster Test Tube Garland you will need:
Googly eyes
Colorful paper
String or twine
Dowel or straw
1: Gather your supplies. Cut the paper to a 3″ by 3″ squares. 2: Roll a piece of paper around the straw and slide it into one of the test tubes. 3: Wrap a cupcake liner around the end of the straw and gently push into the top of the test tube. 4: Glue a googly eye on the front of the test tube. 5: Glue the test tubes onto a piece of string or twine.
Thanks for letting me share with you today! I hope you enjoyed my test tube monsters. If you are wanting to have your own Mad Scientist Bakery Party, be sure to stop on by and pick up the free printables I have on my blog.
