I’m over the moon excited to finally be able to share the cover of my book with you (shot by the talented Jen Roberts)! Did you guess the theme correctly? I’m so so so proud of how it turned out and I love that it gives you a little sneak peek of the fun projects inside the book. I still can’t believe that almost 2 years ago I just happened to sit at the same table as the senior editor for Gibbs Smith at a blog conference. I took a risk and at the chance of sounding completely dumb, I asked her how someone gets a book published. She so patiently and kindly explained the proposal process, handed me her business card (probably to get me to stop following her around lol) and as soon as I got home I went to work. Now here I am – SHARING THE COVER OF MY VERY OWN BOOK WITH YOU!! Someone pinch me!

This book is a labor of love, so much so that I often refer to it as my 3rd child lol! I was very pregnant with Amelia while writing and styling this book. My kiddos make for great inspiration and you might just see a 2 1/2 year old Logan make a cameo inside the book. He looks so young and little! I can’t wait to share the inside of the book with you…soon! I have a few fun things up my sleeve to help celebrate the release of my first craft book in the next few months, so stay tuned!
