This heart shaped strawberry shortcake recipe is the perfect Valentine’s Day breakfast treat for your family! I’ll let you in on a little secret, they only took around 20 minutes to make. That’s it. I totally cheated with this recipe and if you have little ones running around and a million things to do, I highly recommend my cheat method. What does this amazing method consist of you ask? Refrigerated biscuits in a can y’all. All of you food snobs, please don’t mass exodus my blog. You can still make your 5 hour biscuits. This method is for the tired moms out there who are surviving on 3 hours of sleep, but still want to do something cute for their family. Unless your spouse is a gourmet chef, he totally won’t know the different and you can totally hide the empty biscuit can under a few napkins in the trash. Another one of my tired mom secrets. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Ingredients/Materials
Canned Refrigerated Biscuits
Strawberries
Whipped Cream
Heart Cookie Cutter
Directions: Use a heart cookie cutter to cut biscuits into a heart shape. Bake biscuits in the oven according to package. You can help shape the biscuits with a knife if they don’t look like a heart out of the oven. Cut heart biscuits in half and place 2-3 sliced strawberries topped with whipped cream in the middle. Enjoy!

Such a cute idea…my kids would love this! And I bet I could do this in the summer with a star cookie cutter too, for 4th of July.
