Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with this festive GREEN mint chocolate parfait recipe, made with mint Oreos. Sooo yummy and simple enough for your kiddos to help you with. In fact, cooking is a great way to flex those fine motor skills and teach all sorts of subjects (math, science, reading, writing, etc.). Plus, someday your kid’s spouse will totally thank you. When I met my hubby, he could barely boil a pot of water. Then again, he married a directionally challenged girl who loathes anything having to do with math. He may only be able to cook spaghetti, but at least he can get to the store to buy spaghetti without having to use GPS (I’m not joking). We balance each other out haha!
Ingredients
Instant Chocolate Pudding
Cool Whip
Green Food Coloring
Mint Oreos
Half Pint Jar
Directions
Step 1: Crush mint Oreos in a food processor. You can also stick them in a plastic freezer bag and use a rolling pin to crush them. You’ll need 2 Oreos per jar.
Step 2: Make chocolate pudding according to package and allow to chill in the refrigerator. Add green food coloring to the cool whip and mix until you get your desired shade of green.
Step 3: Layer 2 tablespoons of crushed Oreos, green cool whip and chocolate pudding all the way to the top of the half pint jar. Enjoy!
