Spring has officially hit my neighborhood. And nothing says it more than all the beautiful spring bulbs abloom. I love to have fresh flowers in my home, and I thought displaying them in rain boots and a watering can would add even more to the spring “look.” If you are hosting any parties or showers, this is an easy, simple way to add beautiful decor and make a statement.

To pull off the rain boot flower arrangement you will need rain boots (obvi), a jar or cup that fits inside, and sheers to trim your flower stems to the right height. These Hunter rain boots are so popular right now, but you can find lots of cheaper ones, too. I found my son some little yellow ones just recently at the thrift store for a couple bucks. Stick your jar of water securely in the bottom of the boot, and cut your flower stems until they are the height you like them.

For the watering can arrangement, I actually used a potted clover plant. If your flowers or plants are potted in a little container, just add something inside the bottom of the watering can so the plant is at the right height.

In this case, I turned a little bowl upside down and stuck that inside. Then I plopped the potted plant right on top and you couldn’t even tell there was a bowl inside.

I hope these ideas inspire you to add more spring flowers to your home or celebrations this month! Flowers alone put me in such a good mood. Put them in boots and I am just giddy.
