Happy Spring! Here’s a super easy Easter treat that will only take you a few minutes to make, especially if you buy pre-made rice cereal treats. I’m all about EASY! I’ll let you in on another secret: store bought icing. My mom, an amazing baker, is probably yelling at the computer screen right now shouting “NEVER use store bought icing” ha ha! But it’ll totally work and save you time in the kitchen. This tutorial is almost too easy to share, but I know you’ll want the details. You can make these adorable, almost too cute to eat, treats for a party or package them up in cello bags with a pretty ribbon and give them to your friends.
INGREDIENTS
PEEPS® chicks
rice cereal treats
piping bag with green icing and grass tip
edible flower candy
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Cut the rice cereal treats into rectangles or use premade treats. Pipe green “grass” onto the top of the rice cereal treats using a (affiliate link) grass tip.
Step 2: Place PEEPS® on top of the grass, along with a few (affiliate link) edible flowers.
