I crafted up paint can party favors with some help from Expressions Vinyl, who sent me the vinyl for this project. #VinylProjects #ExpressionsVinyl
We recently celebrated Amelia’s 2nd birthday and Logan’s 5th birthday at a pottery painting place with an art themed party. I can’t wait to share the party with you, but in the meantime I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at the paint can party favors I created for our guests. They were a huge hit and I love giving favors that kids will play with for more than a second. Plus, with all the food allergies, it’s nice to give a non-edible or sugar filled favor that every child can enjoy. I filled the paint cans with art supplies, such as watercolors and stickers that the kids can have fun with at home.
MATERIALS
Small Empty Paint Cans
Scissors or Cutting Machine
Craft Supplies (stickers, watercolors, glitter, etc.)
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Order the 12 x 12 Rainbow Pack of Vinyl from Expressions Vinyl and gather the rest of your supplies. You can find empty paint cans at most hardware stores.
Step 2: You can either use scissors to cut the vinyl to look like paint drippings or you can use a personal cutting machine. I purchased a paint graphic from PartiPartieParty on Etsy and cut my vinyl with my Silhouette Cameo.
Step 3: Carefully wrap the vinyl “paint” around the top of the paint can.
Step 4: Place craft supplies inside of the paint can, add a cute tag and your party favor is complete!
