Disney: Beauty and the Beast Freak Shake

February 27, 2017 By Vanessa 4 Comments

Disney Beauty and The Beast Freak Shake Belle Dessert Recipe copy

Freak shakes are all the rage right now, so I thought I’d try my hand at one! Not sure what a freak shake is? It’s basically a milkshake piled high with, well, anything edible. With Disney’s live action version of Beauty and The Beast hitting theaters on March 17th, I knew that my freak shake would have to be inspired by my favorite film. The shake itself is a delicious lemon flavor, that is reminiscent of a frosted lemonade from Chick-fil-A. Even if you aren’t into the freak part of the shake, you’ll want to try the shake recipe! Now go get your freak on, Belle style!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 cup milk
2 tbsp lemon jello powder
whipped cream
glazed donut
edible pearl sprinkles
yellow candy melts
3 candy flowers
green frosting
yellow candy (gum balls, lemon drops, etc.)

DIRECTIONS

Step 1: Melt half a bag of yellow candy melts according to the package. Dip the rim of a pint sized mason jar into the chocolate melts and decorate with edible pearl sprinkles. Allow to harden.

Step 4: Place the donut on top of the mason jar and add 3 edible flowers, using a little dab of the melted chocolate to hold in place. Add green frosting leaves with (affiliate link) Wilton’s leaf icing tip (#366 or similar).
