Anyone else having difficulty getting back into the swing of things after winter break? Our back to school morning routine needed a major makeover, so I decided to create a morning routine printable or a chore chart that our kids could look to for guidance in the mornings. I crafted up a dry erase chore chart by laminating the printable, so tasks can easily be crossed off using a dry erase marker and reused. This is our second week using the routine chart and our mornings are already running smoother. Keep on scrolling all the way to the bottom to grab the printable chart.
A big part of our morning school routine is breakfast time. My kids really enjoy this small pocket of family time before they head off to school. Our breakfast foods change, but Shamrock Farms milk is always on the menu with 8g of protein and 9 essential nutrients in every 8oz. serving. The Shamrock Farms single-serve milk now has a new look with a signature green top. The new packaging celebrates Shamrock Farms’ century long commitment to purity and freshness. It still has the same great taste that our family loves and trusts (they pledge to never treat their cows with the growth hormone rBST)!
Shamrock Farms is a family-owned dairy operating in Arizona since 1922. My family recently toured their real, working dairy farm in Stanfield, AZ (located between Phoenix and Tucson) and it was an incredible experience that our kids still talk about. The farm is open to the public for tours October – May so you can see firsthand their commitment to high-quality animal care. Dry Erase Marker
Step 1: Print out the morning routine printable and laminate. You could also place it in a plastic frame if you don’t have access to a laminator.
Step 2: Introduce the checklist and go over morning expectations with your child the night before.
Step 3: Give the checklist to your child each morning and have them complete the tasks on the list, crossing each task off the list with a dry erase marker after it is finished.
Step 4: Use a paper towel and dry erase cleaner to wipe the laminated sheet clean in order to reuse the next day.
