April 1, 2019 By Vanessa Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Shamrock Farms. The opinions and text are all mine.

This spinach artichoke dip recipe is deliciously creamy and easy to make! This appetizer recipe is the perfect party recipe to share with friends. You might want to make to make a double batch, because this cheesy spinach dip will go fast!

THE BEST SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP RECIPE

Whether you are planning a March Madness basketball viewing party or a birthday party, this spinach and artichoke dip recipe should be on your menu! I’m all about easy recipes when I’m entertaining and have a million other things to do, therefore I’m also a fan of dip recipes. They are easy, filling and you can make a few options to keep even the pickiest of eaters satisfied. Keep on reading for the recipe and other appetizer ideas.

SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP INGREDIENTS

The ingredients for this spinach artichoke dip are mostly pantry staples, but make for a delicious appetizer:

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz Shamrock Farms organic sour cream
  • 2 cups parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 can quartered artichoke hearts, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 tsp salt

The key ingredient for this recipe and most of my dip recipes is Shamrock Farms sour cream. Its smooth and creamy texture makes for a perfect topping or high-quality recipe ingredient. Whether using traditional or organic sour cream, Shamrock Farms never has and never will use growth hormones on its happy herd of cows. Don’t even think about buying another brand, this stuff is the best and always my secret ingredient – just like in this easy hot bean taco dip recipe or this easy lasagna dip recipe. The best sour cream starts with the best milk and with Shamrock Farms you can absolutely taste the difference.

Shamrock Farms is a local family-owned dairy operating in Arizona since 1922 – that’s nearly a century of providing pure, fresh products! We loved visiting the farm in Stanfield, AZ experienced firsthand how much Shamrock Farms cares about the quality of their products, consequently we are very loyal costumers. Shamrock Farms’ real, working dairy farm is open to the public for tours October – May so you can see firsthand their commitment to high-quality animal care so their cows stay happy and healthy.

HOW DO YOU MAKE SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP?

Making this dip recipe is super easy and can quickly be prepared before tip off at your March Madness party! Here are the very simple steps to make this spinach artichoke dip:

  1. First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Soften cream cheese and mix with olive oil, garlic, sour cream and salt.
  3. Mix in spinach (thawed), artichoke hearts (drained and rinsed) and 1 cup cheese.
  4. Place in an oven safe dish and top with the remaining cup of cheese.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Broil for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
  6. Finally, serve with your favorite dipping crackers, chips or veggies.

WHAT OTHER PARTY APPETIZERS SHOULD MAKE?

Like I mentioned earlier, I love making a few different dip recipes for my parties. Here are a some of my favorites:

  • 3 Ingredient Nacho Cheese Dip
  • Black Bean and Corn Dip

IS THIS SPINACH AND ARTICHOKE DIP LOW CARB AND KETO FRIENDLY?

Good news for those doing the low carb ketogenic diet, this spinach artichoke dip recipe is keto friendly! Just make sure to serve with low carb veggies instead of crackers. Artichokes and spinach are both low carb vegetables that are keto approved and so good for you. Artichokes are low in fat, high in fiber, and loaded with vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, vitamin K, folate, phosphorus, and magnesium. Spinach is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C and folate as well as being a good source of manganese, magnesium, iron and vitamin B2. We already know how good dairy is for us!
