MEET VANESSA COPPOLA

I was born and raised in NM, lived in TX and now call AZ home.

I have an 8 year old, who competitively dances and an 11 year old, who competitively swims.

I married my best friend 14 years ago in Disneyland, Cinderella carriage and all.

I received my MSSW from The University of TX at Austin (Hook ‘em Horns!) and worked in the adoption field and with children in the foster care system for almost a decade.

My craft book, Party in a Jar, was published in 2014. As a book worm myself, it was a dream come true seeing my book on bookshelves!

Gift giving is my love language. I also enjoy crafting, party planning, home decor and traveling. That pretty much sums up what this blog is all about.

16 KID-FRIENDLY JAR PROJECTS

Party in a Jar features sixteen kid-friendly craft projects that not only provide entertainment for pint-sized partygoers but also function as takehome party favors! ABOUT SEE VANESSA CRAFT

See Vanessa Craft was created over a decade ago, originally as a hobby. At the time, I was still knee deep into my social work career and my blog was something to help me de-stress after working in the foster care system. Wanting a more flexible schedule (and more money because social workers are paid far less than they deserve) after my son was born, I turned this little hobby into a thriving business. Adoption and the foster care system will always be near and dear to my heart.

Initially, this blog focused on all things crafty. While crafts are still a large focus here, we’ve expanded to include other topics that will help create a life well lived. In my world, that includes recipes, parties, printables, home decor and travel. All things that most certainly spark joy in my life! We try to keep things light around here, mostly because as a former social worker, I understand the need for a safe place to drown out the chaos of the world. I want to provide that happy place for you to de-stress.

I love seeing what you’ve created, so please tag me on social media or send a quick email. Here are some of our favorites that will help get you started on exploring See Vanessa Craft:
