Prince Lionheart recently sent me (and my official tester, Logan) the Back To Sleep Bear to review. The pictures do not do this bear justice – it is so much cuter and cuddlier in person! Besides just being plain cute, the bear comes with an “audio pacifier” soundbox with actual sounds recorded inside a mother’s womb. The soundbox also has a recordable feature that allows you to record your own message – I recorded myself reading Goodnight Moon. What an awesome feature for parents who have to go back to work, babies will still be able to be soothed by their parent’s voice. The soundbox turns off after 5 minutes (a great battery saving feature) and will turn on again if it detects sound or movement. The bear’s blanket is removable so mom (or whoever) can transfer their scent to the silkie and this helps comfort baby.
What I love most about the Back To Sleep Bear is that the soundbox is removable and small enough to toss in your diaper bag when you are on the go. I NEVER leave home without the soundbox. There have been many occasions (like in the middle of a grocery check out line) when Logan is fussing when we’re out running errands and I just pull out the soundbox and he goes right back to sleep.
