I adore being a boy mom, but I have to admit that sometimes I have girlie accessory envy. I can’t wait to stick those frilly bows and cute flower headbands on a baby girl someday (not someday soon). When Gigi and Lula contacted me about a review, I was in girlie heaven browsing their hats and flower clips. The creative mama (also an Arizonian) behind Gigi and Lula was sweet enough to drop off a box of her designs for me to see in person. I may or may not have tried a couple frilly hats on Logan for the sake of an accurate blog review. Logan might not appreciate me posting pictures of him on my blog in girlie accessories (yes, I might have snapped a few pics), so I enlisted the help of a friend to do a guest review of this shop. Maria of Maria Hays Photography had her little fashionista review a hat by Gigi and Lula, she writes:
My daughter Gianna is somewhat of a fashionista girlie girl, she would rather spend her own money on a cute polkadot trench coat, flower headbands or lavender nail polish than on something in the toy section. When I pulled up Gigi and Lula’s website and told her she could pick out a hat to try she took about 30 minutes making up her mind as well as changing it, they were all so cute. She finally decided on the Chocolate Covered Cherries. The day it arrived she had to put it on as soon as we opened the package. We loved how soft the hat was and how the cute bow attached is on a clip so you can also wear it separately or exchange the hat embellishment! The hat is very well made. We got lots of compliments on it while we were at the mall, and Gianna has already informed me she needs a blue one and a pink one. They are the perfect accessory to any outfit and great for pictures!
