As I mentioned earlier, nighttime diapering has been a challenge for us. At around 6 months, Logan turned into a super soaker and 2 microfiber inserts stuffed inside of a pocket just wasn’t cutting it anymore. I thought maybe my diapers needed stripping, nope that didn’t work. I tried different kind of pocket diapers, major fail. I tried stripping again, waste of time.
After being woken up in the middle of the night and having to change pj’s/sheets for the hundredth time (ok, maybe that is an exaggeration but it felt like the hundredth time), I had it. I was almost out the door ready to buy disposables, not that disposables are leak proof but I was willing to try anything. I snatched up a hemp insert starter kit and my problems were solved. I stuff a pocket diaper with 2 hemp inserts and a microfiber on top, no more middle of the night leaks. The Artsy Fartsy Foo Foo hemp inserts are super absorbent but thinner than a microfiber insert so double stuffing won’t cause leg gap leakage.
