With the Omni, you can snap a Pod right on top or stuff it like a pocket diaper. You can even use it as a diaper cover for a prefold or fitted. Talk about a multi-purpose diaper! Soft Bums sent me a DryTouch Pod to review, they contain 4 layers of absorbent microfiber and are topped with soft microfleece. We use this for daytime and it works great without any leaks. If you want to use for naps/nighttime, Soft Bums recommends the DryTouch Pod combined with a Mini Pod. I’ll have to try this! There are several different Pods available (they have organic too) to meet your cloth diapering needs.
The best part of this diaper/pod combo? No folding, no stuffing, no hassle. This diaper is husband-grandma-daycare provider friendly. On the rare occasion that I leave my stranger anxious-mama’s boy (this is another blog post) with someone else for a couple hours, this is the diaper that I leave out for my husband or mom to use. Not only is it leak proof and stuffing free, but it also attaches easily with velcro. Velcro is heavenly when trying to change a squirmy mobile baby. The velcro is apparently a super strength industrial type of velcro, so it has a long life span. Oh and did I mention that these diapers are made in the good ol’ U.S. of A.?
