If I have to sing or listen to the ABC song one more time, I think I might pull out my hair. Why, oh why, does this song have to be part of every single toy and baby CD that we own? I get the importance of teaching kids the ABC’s but why must we torture moms in the process? Pulling. Hair. Out. Well, I finally found a totally awesome baby CD that I actually enjoy listening to. Oh and the best part is that it doesn’t have the ABC song anywhere on it. Score!
Putumayo Kids recently sent me their newest CD, Acoustic Dreamland, to review. The music is soothing and absolutely beautiful. I play it for Logan right before naps during our wind-down time and we both enjoy it. There actually isn’t a Putumayo Kids CD that I’ve listened to that I don’t love. During pregnancy I played the Dreamland CD for Logan in the womb on repeat and I also had it loaded on my iPod as part of my birthing soundtrack (that was never turned on). Both the Acoustic Dreamland and Dreamland albums are incredibly relaxing. I look forward to adding more of the Putumayo Kids CD’s to our collection.
