It is amazing how much trash a little person can generate. Even with cloth diapering, Logan has almost doubled the amount of trash we are throwing out every week. In an effort to be greener, we’re really trying to reduce the amount of trash we produce. One way we’re doing this is to think about how we pack lunches or food when we’re on the go, especially for Logan. I got some great ideas from Reuseit’s 5 Steps to a Waste-Free Lunch article. Just a few small changes can make a huge difference, and can actually be more cost effective for you in the long run.
Besides food containers, Reusit sells a TON of other reusable (hence the name) products. Check out their water bottles, shopping bags and gift wrap – all reusable! Oh and their staple free staplers look pretty cool. I’ve gotten so many great ideas for ways we can reduce the amount of trash we produce from reuseit!
