Thankful Tree & Colic (not related)

I told you I’m trying to respect the turkey a bit more this year by trying to give Thanksgiving some crafty attention. I may or may not have crafted up this thankful tree tutorial for Craft while sipping peppermint hot chocolate and humming along to Christmas carols. The turkey doesn’t need to know those details. Speaking of Thanksgiving, I must show my appreciation to Craft for allowing me to contribute my craftiness over the past few years. I’ve enjoyed every moment of it and I’m thankful for the opportunity!

I’m also excited to announce that I’m a new freelance writer for Parent Society, a website designed to help navigate the adventure of parenthood from pregnancy through teen years. Last week I wrote about tips for surviving colic. When Logan had colic I remember googling, trying to find something that would help us. I didn’t find any “real” advice written by a mom who had experienced colic and lived to tell about it. Maybe she didn’t exist, I thought. I hope this gives a sleep deprived mom somewhere some light at the end of the colic tunnel. I look forward to contribute my 2 cents to this website!
