Today, I’m thankful for electricity. It’s something I regularly take for granted and shouldn’t. Many of my friends on the East Coast were impacted by hurricane Sandy and the stories I’m hearing are just devastating. Many people are STILL without power. Can you imagine having to bundle up your babies to try and keep them warm at night? Or even just having to figure out what to cook your children without electricity, especially with the grocery stores all practically emptied? Unimaginable.
If you would like to donate you can go to the Red Cross website, call 1-800-HELP-NOW, or it can be as simple as texting “REDCROSS” to 90999 to make a $10 donation. I will be texting today.
