This week is International Babywearing Week and it is fitting that I’m posting about the fabulous ERGO baby carrier. ERGO recently sent me a baby carrier along with an infant insert to review. Every ERGO-owning mom I’ve talked to has raved about this baby carrier so I was excited to try it out for myself. For some reason Logan protests when I attempt to wear him in the ERGO. I wore him in a wrap non-stop for the first couple months so he might just be used to me wearing him that way. Now that my little preemie baby is growing like a weed, my back can’t take wearing him in a wrap 24/7 and I’m looking forward to using the ERGO more and more (if my picky baby will let me). On the other hand, Logan loves hanging out with Mr. Crafty Nest in the ERGO and he’s nice and supported in the infant insert. Mr. Crafty Nest reports that the ERGO is super comfy on his back and much more user (husband) friendly than a wrap. We’ll stick Logan in the ERGO with his Pop when I need to run errands and it is pretty much guaranteed that he will still be sleeping by the time I get back. We’re finally getting over the colicky phase but when it was in full swing, the ERGO was a life saver – especially because it gave me a break from All. Day. Crying!
