Pear Tree Thank You Cards Review & Giveaway – ENDED

Speaking of thank you cards, what’s the best thank you card you ever received? For me, I can think of 4 little thank you cards that I will always cherish. I worked in the adoption field for several years right out of college – my job was to find families for hard to place children (sibling groups, older children, special needs, etc.), prepare them for adoption and place them in their adoptive home. One of the very first cases I was assigned to was a sibling group of 4. I enjoyed my weekly visits with this clan and can still picture them running out to greet me with a “Miss Vanessa, Miss Vanessa”! As you can imagine, finding a family to take in a sibling group of 4 high needs children was not an easy task. After a couple years of searching, I found an amazing adoptive family and the kids fit right in to their new family. On my last day on the job I went to visit them one last time – you better believe that there were tears. Before I left they presented me with 4 handmade thank you cards. They were covered in globs of paint and unreadable scribbles but they were perfect and it was a great way to close out that chapter in my life.
