I’m dreaming of a MUSTARD Christmas…

Every year around this time I torture Mr. Crafty Nest and make him put on a coordinating outfit and smile for the camera. This year was no exception. We put on our mustard colored clothing (mustard is considered a Christmas-y color, right?) and the awesome Kathy Scoffield snapped away. Yes, we are totally THAT family – the one that sends out Christmas photo cards of ourselves to be displayed on fireplace mantels. Not narcissistic at all.

I learned several things from this photo shoot:

1. Shoes for babies are pointless. Logan kicked off his adorably pointless loafers in less than 2 seconds.

2. I. Must. Get. To. The. Gym. My face is looking a bit rounder than last year and I’m not loving my post pregnancy bod.

3. A fabulous pair of boots will make you feel better about your round face.

4. Make sure the husband is fed before the shoot or he will be grumpy. This applies to baby too.

5. Logan is stinkin’ CUTE!

One of these pics will grace our Christmas cards and be displayed on many fireplace mantels this year. Now, if I can just decide on a card to put our faces on. Shutterfly has some super cute holiday cards, these are some of my faves:

To my friends and family anxiously awaiting our cards, check your mailboxes next month. You know you want one! And next year I might just send out calendars so you can enjoy a year full of our faces! Just kidding. Sorta.

Calling all bloggers: Shutterfly is offering 50 free holiday cards when you contribute a blog write up. Go HERE for details.
