The Crafty Nest’s 2nd Cloth Diaper Week is finally here (a day late, sorry guys)! During last year’s Cloth Diaper Week, I was still pregnant and getting ready to cloth diaper. People told me I was nuts and made disgusted faces when I told them that I would *gasp* be washing poopy diapers in my own washer. Rest assure that after 10 months of cloth diapering, I have not noticed any poop remnants on my clothing. I’m so glad I gave cloth diapering a chance, I absolutely love it.
Cloth diapering has come with some challenges, like finding a good nighttime solution (stay tuned for a post about nighttime cloth diapering), but for the most part cloth diapers and I get along well. Logan has never once had a poopsplotion or even diaper rash (knock on wood). Those 2 things alone are worth the extra effort of washing diapers in my opinion. Oh and speaking of washing, I honestly don’t really mind cloth diaper laundry that much.
Obviously I love fluff, actually that is a bit of an understatement…I’m ADDICTED to fluff. My once shoe hording, err, collecting self now collects diapers. Maybe that is because my shoe size went up half a size during pregnancy and I’m hoping my already big feet will shrink back to normal or maybe it is because cloth diapers nowadays are super cute. So, I will be devoting this entire week to posting about my love of fluff and maybe inspiring a few of YOU to try it out. There will be guest posts and lots of giveaways going on this week (I have some pretty awesome sponsors lined up). Whether you are a cloth diapering pro or maybe just thinking about trying it out, this week is for you.
