My mom was a cloth diaper baby back in the day and being the oldest sibling, she helped cloth diaper the rest of her siblings. So, the first thing that came out of her mouth when I told her I was planning on cloth diapering was, “Are you sure about that?”. She was remembering plastic pants, diaper pins and swishing diapers around in the toilet. Gone are those days. Thank goodness! I don’t think I would be a cloth diapering mama if I had to swish anything around in the toilet.
Mother-ease recently sent me an AIO (All In One) system, an AIO diaper and liner, to review. Talk about a modern diaper, even my mom was impressed. It works just like a disposable, you literally just snap it on your baby and go. No pockets to stuff, no inserts to place inside, a husband friendly diaper. This is probably the most bootalicious diaper I’ve tried out, but I don’t mind a fluffy butt. The best thing about these diapers? No leaks so far!
If you need a little extra absorbancy, like for naps or nighttime, you can place a liner right on top. I was able to test out a Sandy’s Absorbent Liner (unbleached cotton) and it worked great for nap time. You can also find one size diapers, fitted diapers, covers, and more at Mother-ease. While you are browsing around, check out the article about the environment that is on their website. Total cloth diaper inspiration!
PS- Cloth Diaper Week will continue tomorrow!
