I still struggle with making the right food choices on a daily basis, heck on an hourly basis. I still have to drag myself to the gym at the end of the day and force myself to run when I would much rather be sitting in front of the computer. Seeing the scale move in the right direction has been extremely motivating. I feel like I can actually do this. I might just be able to someday fit into all of those clothes hanging in my closet that I just couldn’t bare to get rid of, but are 4 sizes too small for me. I can’t thank Nutrisystem enough for helping me do this.
I’m up to running a mile straight now, every.single.day. This was my goal when I started C25K and I’m here! I haven’t ran a mile in years and now I’m doing it on a daily basis again. It feels great. While I want to eventually complete C25K, I’m going to stay here for awhile and just enjoy running for running (well, jogging for jogging). I need to add a weight training regimen to my workouts, but the free weights section can be intimidating with all of those steroid muscle looking guys tromping around. I hate new gyms and having to learn the ins and outs all over again, but I just need to suck it up and trek into steroid muscle guy territory. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes next week.
