Today, I’m thankful for my parents. They are always there for me unconditionally, something I don’t take for granted. Having worked in the foster care/adoption field with many children who desperately wanted a family to call their own, I know that I’m very lucky to have such supportive parents. They raised me in a home immersed in creativity and tradition. They allowed me to color outside of the lines and think for myself, despite tradition. They taught me acceptance and empathy. They taught me the importance of family. They taught me an amazing work ethic and to follow my passions. They are amazing grandparents and even though they live a state away, they’ve managed to cultivate an amazingly close relationship with Logan. They’ve done so much for me and I’m grateful.
