Friday night I had the honor of hosting a Shutterfly dinner for a few of my bloggy friends at Oreganos here in Arizona. If you know me, you know that I can’t resist a fun theme…even when I’m hosting a dinner at a restaurant that is theme-y enough. So a mustache theme it was! Yes, I realize I might have a slight addiction to party planning, but everyone had fun with my mustache theme. I made mustache chocolate pops and little “I mustache you to tweet & instagram” signs to remind everyone of the hashtag (I wish more events did this!). One of my friends made the mustache drink charms for everyone, which were a big hit! Good friends, good food, chatting about Shutterfly and some mustaches. A fun night was had by all.
If you are ever in the Arizona area, I highly recommend Oregano’s. It is a fun, casual and ohmygosh oh so yummy restaurant! It is guaranteed to put you in a food coma, in the best way possible. After they brought out the appetizers (hello bruschetta and toasted raviolis), a few people were already saying they were full. I had Zany Ziti for my entree, baked ziti in a bread bowl, and it could feed an army! We couldn’t go home without trying their world famous pizookie (pizza + cookie = pizookie), so we ordered a round for the table and had to roll ourselves out of there by the end of dinner with our to go boxes. Oregano’s knows how to feed people!
During the dinner we chatted about the new Shutterfly Family Photo Site and shared our favorite family photo tips (like bribing kids with marshmallows). I blogged about some of my favorite family photos tips a couple weeks ago. Shutterfly also sent us a few sample holiday cards to browse and I’m totally in love with their “chalkboard blessings” holiday card. The washi tape embellishments are too cute!
There’s still time to order your holiday cards and there’s still time to win some as well! The lucky winner of my $100 Shutterfly giveaway is Michelle Frame, but don’t worry if you didn’t win because I have lots of other giveaways to direct you to!
