(diy tutorial) easter bunny donut pops

March 28, 2013 By Vanessa 6 Comments

Easter is on Sunday and these bunny pops are the perfect breakfast treat for your little bunnies. These guys are made out of donuts, which means no baking and super simple to put together. My kinda crafting! They are much easier than cake pops and just as cute, in my humble opinion. Your kiddos can even get in on the crafting of these donut pops, they are that easy to make. Happy Easter crafty friends!

Materials:

Mini Powdered Donuts

White Chocolate Candy Melts

Lollipop Sticks

Pink Pipe Cleaners

Pink Bubble Gum Balls

Wilton Edible Candy Eyes

Instructions:

Cut a pink pipe cleaner in half for every donut pop you plan on making. Bend the halved pipe cleaners to look like bunny ears and stick in the donut. Lay the donut flat on the surface you are working on, face up. Melt white chocolate melts according to package. I recommend melting in 30 second intervals and mixing in between so you don’t over-melt. Dip the bubble gum nose halfway into the melted chocolate and place in the center of the donut hole. Dip the eyes in the melted chocolate and place just above the nose. Dip the lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and place at the bottom of the donut. Allow to dry and then serve!
