by Stephanie of Crafting in the Rain for See Vanessa Craft

Hey guys, I’m Steph from Crafting in the Rain, and I’m pretty excited to be here posting on Vanessa’s blog as part of her team.

I created this Easter basket SVG that you can download. They make perfect little favors or place markers for your Easter dinner place settings. Click to download

You can adjust the size to make different sized boxes. I sized my file to 7.5 inches across (the longest part is the handle) The basket part ends up being 2 inches tall, then 4 ½ with the handle added.

Cut out the file and fold on the score lines. Glue the side tabs inside the front and back and use two brads to attach the handles through the holes.

At this point you can decorate them anyway you like: Washi tape, flowers, twine, ribbon, buttons. Even a little moss initial! Cut out the letter you need, or even use a sticker, and use hot glue to attach it (wrong side down) to the back of some craft moss. Cut off the excess and seal the edges with Mod Podge, applied with a toothpick. Let dry and glue to the basket.

Have I inspired you to make some now? If you do, we’d love to see a picture on Instagram—tag @seevanessacraft and @steph_crafting_rain!

Stephanie lives in the Northwest with her husband and their three children where she is actively involved in church and PTO activities. She loves a good book, good chocolate, and good food — though usually that means it was cooked by someone else. She’s been creating since she was little, trying out everything from cross stitch and stamps to watercolor and sewing. Currently spread across her desk these days you will usually find vinyl, pretty paper, washi tape and paint. She blogs at Crafting in the Rain.
