Whip up a batch of fringe party cups for your next backyard fiesta! These pinata inspired cups would be the perfect addition to your Cinco de Mayo festivities and I’m giving you step by step directions on how to make these fancy cups. Materials

Colorful Tissue Paper

Scissors

Cutting Mat/Rotary Cutter (optional)

Hot Glue Gun

Clear Cup

Directions

Step 1: Cut the tissue paper into 2 inch wide strips. The length will depend on the size of your cups, just make sure the strips are long enough to wrap around them. You’ll need 10 strips per cup, 2 of each color (5 colors total).

Step 2: Hot glue the first strip to the bottom of the cup, so the fringe slightly hangs over the bottom. Hot glue an additional layer around the cup of the same color right on top, so it’s doubled.

Step 3: Continue to hot glue the remainder of strips, doubling up layers, as shown in the photo below. Pour in your favorite festive drink, add a colorful straw and enjoy!
