My must have October magazine is Martha Stewart Living. It’s always packed full of fun ideas for Halloween, for both kids and adults! This year’s October issue didn’t disappoint. In this issue you’ll learn how to make clay-skull jewelry, which would also be perfect for your Day of the Dead festivities. Martha gives instructions for making the cutest no-sew handmade lion and gladiator costumes, using paper materials. There are also several unique adult costume tutorials that are sure to win the best costume award at any Halloween party!

In addition to wearable Halloween crafts, Martha Stewart Living also offers handmade activity and decor ideas. The bug slime recipe was a huge hit with my 4 year old and we’re looking forward to making “vampire lips”, which are fun treats crafted out of apples and marshmallows. Don’t forget to craft up a batch of bat pudding cups to go with your vampire lips! I’m always so inspired flipping through Martha Stewart Living, especially around this time of year!
