Halloween: Dice Game for Kids

30 Crafty Days of Halloween

Hi everyone, it’s Vanessa from Tried & True and I’m so happy to be participating in See Vanessa Crafts’ 30 Crafty Days of Halloween! (Partly because, of course, all Vanessa’s are awesome.) I thought I would share the Halloween version of a super easy dice game that my kids love to play! You can play up to six kids per die or as many children as you like if they each are rolling their own die. Let’s get started!

MATERIALS:

Scissors/Tape/Pencil

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step One. First things first, you’re going to want to print off enough Halloween Dice Game Free Printable sheets for as many kids are playing. Each of them doesn’t have to make a die (unless there are more than six kids) but everyone is going to need a spider-web score keeper card.

Halloween-Dice-Game-1Step Two. Cut, tape, and fold the Halloween character die (hint: helps if you score the edges with a pen!) Depending on the age of your child, they may or may not need help on this part. Trim spider web score keeper.

Halloween-Dice-Game-2Step Three. To play, have each child select a Halloween character as their own and every time that character is rolled, they get to mark a line on the spider web. Whomever fills in the entire web first is the winner! As I mentioned above, if there are six or fewer children playing, you can roll one die for the entire group. If there are more, just have each child make and roll their own die. Same rules applies, first person to roll enough of their character to fill in the entire web, wins!

And that’s it, super easy, right? My boys loved choosing their characters and played multiple rounds of this game in one sitting! Instead of printing out the score card over and over, I had them make new lines slightly above the previous ones. They ended up with a really detailed spider web that was fun to look at! Hope you guys enjoyed this free printable and thanks again to Vanessa to having me!
