These caramel apple cake mix donuts, topped with M&M’S® Pumpkin Spice Latte pieces are like taking a bite into Fall. There’s nothing I love more than preheating my oven and baking up something yummy in the Fall time. When I think of Fall, I can vividly smell the delicious things my mom baked. It smelled of pumpkins and apples and cinnamon. Those scents become ingrained in your memory and anytime you smell them, you are transported back in time. I love creating those special memories for my own children and they’re always happy to be my taste testers! These donuts got two big thumbs up from them!

INGREDIENTS

Pillsbury® Caramel Apple Cake Mix
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Water
Pillsbury® Caramel Apple Frosting
1 Cup M&M’S® Pumpkin Spice Latte

DIRECTIONS

Step 1: Head to Target and pick up your ingredients. I found the Pillsbury Caramel Apple Cake Mix, Pillsbury Caramel Apple Frosting and M&M’S Pumpkin Spice Latte (exclusively available at Target) in the Halloween section. Don’t forget to check Cartwheel for special savings on these products! Don’t you just love shopping at Target for these seasonal products?! It’s my favorite store when I want to bake!

Step 2: Beat the cake mix, egg, oil and water together until smooth.

Step 3: Spray donut pans with cooking spray.

Step 3: Place batter in a piping bag and pipe into the donut pans.

Step 4: Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Allow donuts to completely cool and then remove from pan.

Step 5: Place the frosting in a microwave safe dish and microwave for 20 seconds, mixing every 10 seconds. You’ll want to frosting to be slightly runny.

Step 6: Dip the top of the donuts into the frosting.

Step 7: Sprinkle crushed M&M’S® Pumpkin Spice Latte pieces on top of the frosting before it dries.

I loved the fun fall flavor I baked up. What would you make with MARS chocolate candies and Pillsbury cake mixes?

Wow, those donuts look fantastic. I’d never thought to make them like this – or to top with crushed M&M’s, but you can bet I will now! #Client
