Instead of resolutions this year, I sat down and wrote out my goals for the new year and ways that I can accomplish those goals. One of my goals is to simply eat better. If it isn’t a lifestyle change, it isn’t going to work for me. I also believe in indulging in the occasional treat and don’t you dare tell me I can’t have chocolate lol! A handful of DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut totally satisfies my cravings while still allowing me to stay on track. Plus, dark chocolate and nuts have all kinds of benefits. I added my favorite treat to my homemade granola bar recipe and it has made for a yummy snack, without sabotaging my goals. Don’t be intimidated, this recipe is so easy to make and so good!
INGREDIENTS
2 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup peanut butter (or other nut butter)
1/2 cup sliced walnuts
1/4 cup honey
1 bag DOVE® Dark Chocolate Raspberry & Honey Roasted Almond
DIRECTIONS
Step 1: Head to Walmart (print out your coupon first) and grab your ingredients. Don’t forget to get a couple extra DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut bags for snacking purposes (trust me on this one). I found my bags close to the front of the store, but I’ve also seen them in the candy aisle and in a special display. I’m loving DOVE® Dark Chocolate Strawberry & Cocoa Almond and DOVE® Dark Chocolate Blueberries at the moment!
Step 2: Combine quick cooking oats, peanut butter, walnuts and honey together in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Mix in half the bag of DOVE® Dark Chocolate Raspberry & Honey Roasted Almond, add more honey if needed.
Step 4: Press mixture into an 8 x 8 parchment or wax paper lined baking dish. Add the other half of the DOVE® Dark Chocolate Raspberry & Honey Roasted Almond bag, pressing into the top of the mixture.
Step 5: Place in freezer for an hour. Cut apart and enjoy or refrigerate.

Oh wow! This recipe looks amazing! We’re always making granola bars here, but a no bake fruit and nut granola bar sounds even better. #client
